Food for thought this morning. ☀️
I could really get used to this life. 😍
My mom used to tell me all the time she knew that one day I would move out in the country on a piece of land where I would be the happiest. We both surely didn’t envision things the way they are currently moving, but I always knew she was right. It’s just a matter of how things will manifest in the future, so I’ll just let the Universe work out the details. 😉
Farm Sanctuary is a place of many. ✨
It is a place of incredible beauty and calm.
It is a place where we can face the harsh and cold truth behind the system we willingly or unwillingly support.
It is a place where the stars shine brightly next to the gorgeous moon crescent.
It is a place where we see how resilient and forgiving beings are.
It is a place of healing for the animals that have been rescued from all kinds of abuse.
It is also a place of healing for us humans that have been stranded away; for us to find our way back and reconnect with our inner values of compassion and love; and for us to align our daily actions and choices to reflect these values.
I personally started my journey for the environment and discovered along the way that it was even more important for my health and wellbeing. However, in the end, it is by following my love, compassion and respect for the animals, human and non-human, that I am no longer astray.
« Until we extend our circle of compassion to all living things, humanity will not find peace. »
– Albert Schweitzer
