Meditation in action

Meditation in action extends beyond the formal practice of sitting to build the foundation for compassion, awareness, and creativity in all aspects of life. 🌱

We often think that meditation can only be practiced sitting down, eyes closed, and concentrating on our breath for a certain period of time 🧘‍♀️ 🧘‍♂️ , but we can also practice meditation while remaining active. 😊

According to Chögyam Trungpa, there are six activities associated with meditation in action: generosity, discipline, patience, energy, clarity, and wisdom. They all reveal that through simple, direct experience, one can attain real wisdom: the ability to see clearly into situations and deal with them skillfully, without the self-consciousness connected with ego. 🙏

Here we explore a very important activity of the six: patience. 😉

And, in the end, it not only allows us to spend time together relaxing, talking and facing forward, but the end result is an abundance of yummy sweet marinated onions. 😋

So, what are your canning plans this year? ☀️
